A view along lower Kenidjack valley as seen from my perch on an overhang about 50ft above the river that passes below on its way to the ocean. The old calciner chimney and arsenic furnace is on the left. At the head of the valley where the river outflows to the ocean are the remains of the housing for what was once the largest waterwheel in the UK during the Industrial Revolution. The gorse is relatively well sheltered here and is starting to bloom.
