Quite a change in the state of the ocean on a calm day and a falling tide. Painted overlooking the stony bay at Porth Nanven towards the north-facing slopes of Cape Cornwall — the gutteral cry of Choughs nesting in the next zawn ( the young about to fledge any time now ) and the occasional piping call of Kittiwakes ringing out over the ocean.

After the recent high winds and unsettled rainy conditions it looks as though some decent sunny weather is on the cards, at least for the next couple of days. It was a rare pleasure to be able to go down to Porth Nanven in perfect, almost wind-less conditions, to try and catch some late evening sunshine at high tide.
