A day of beautiful spring sunshine interspersed with veils of cloud and towering banks of dense fog rolling inshore from the ocean. While fog is a fact of life here and can occur at almost any time of the year, it’s not that common to get the types of temperature inversions that cause these displays on this coastline. Painted from the beach at Gwenver facing towards Lands End as skeins of fog are forced up over the headland. The Longships Lighthouse which is usually visible offshore,  buried in the fog.
